Cheddary Barbeque Chicken Pizza

Ingredients



1 pizza crust (I used a recipe of Oops, Its a Fat Free pizza crust Oops, It's a Fat Free pizza crust)
5 boneless skinless, chicken breasts (Cooked and shredded)
3 small onions, sliced very thin
1 cup barbecue sauce
4 tablespoons salsa
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded









Directions for Cheddary Barbeque Chicken Pizza Recipe



Prepare crust as directed in recipe. (I added some seasoning to dough before kneading -- used garlic and herb seasoning)
Boil chicken and shred.
Slice the onions very thinly. Spray a frying pan with non-stick cooking spray. Add onions and cover. Cook until onions are softened and starting to brown. Add the shredded chicken and the 1/4 cup of barbeque sauce. Mix well until all chicken and onions are coated with the sauce. Cook until heated through.
Meanwhile in a small bowl combine the 1 cup barbeque sauce and 4 TBSP of salsa together. This will be the sauce for the pizza.
Have the pizza crust pre-baked for 5 min as directed in instructions for crust.
Spread the barbeque/salsa sauce over crust. Spread chicken onion mixture over that. Top with the shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
