• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1 medium onion, finely chopped
• 1 teaspoon curry powder, garam masala
• 6 garlic cloves, fresh, minced, finely chopped
• 1 (400 g) can tomatoes, chopped peeled
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano, similar Mediterranean mix
• 1 teaspoon white pepper
• 1 tablespoon soya sauce
• 250 ml dry white wine
• 1 kg mussels, plump, in the half shell, room temperature
